Expect the unexpected!

This is how I started my Saturday afternoon..... prepped n ready to go for dinner and drinks with one of my friends and then off to see what the night held.

I wore a striped H&M dress that I belted and paired with all black accessories to keep me comfortable and leave room after dinner, and when I say dinner I mean to one of my favorite Thai/Japanese restaurants so that is definite  all around goodness!

By the end of the night I had some how manged to find myself being taught how to ride a Segway!!! Panic at first as you have to lean forward to move forward and lean back to stop/reverse. I thought i was going to fall flat on my face lol :)

New Year, New You!!!.... Or is that what everyone says?

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I can't believe January is almost over! Last year seemed to have flown by and this year is no different. I have been super busy for the last couple of months but with the new year I realise that I need to make more time for me and here I am!

I rang in the new year out with my girlies and had a ball so I thought I would share with you my outfit of the night, where I opted for a Little Purple Dress instead of the standard Little Black Dress. Tell me what you think!

My favorite part of celebrating the new year is going for breakfast early in the morning for the full works! Bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, banana bread, toast, hash browns!!

Why I don't want to go to work....

Last night I was surfing the net and came across a thirty day picture challenge where you are required to take a picture every day for thirty days. Day 1 pictures tell the story of why I don't want to go to work even on an overcast day ....

To go to work or relax on the beach.... hmmmmm

Earthy Statements

If there is one thing I love its any type of long necklace which I can throw over a plain top to instantly spice it up. I normally do this when I go the movies, chilling with friends or just running errands. I was recently asked by a co-worker to make a chunky earth tone necklace which would suit this purpose and I knew that I had the perfect earthy glass beads that would be just right for this piece. Let's just say that I liked the final result so much I had to make one for myself!

Fedora

Today while running some errands I decided to wear my new fedora. Now while I am not normally a hat person I just could not resist this when I saw it, I had to have it! Today I wore it plain, but I plan on spicing it up it the future by adding different bands/ribbons, broaches and flowers. Check out some of my styles below!

Teal and purple celebrations!

Teal is currently one of my favorite colours so when one of my friends was getting married and chose teal and purple as her wedding colours, I jumped at the chance to create jewellery for all of us bridesmaids! I love working with pearls because of the soft and classy look they give to outfits and it was ideal for her garden wedding!
